About This Project
WSA partnered with Yeti Farm Creative to create, “Kick Flip” a 10-part documentary mini-series featuring some of the top female professional athletes and influencers in skateboarding today (including Leo Baker, Nora Vasconcellos, Samarria Brevard, Cara-Beth Burnside and Brighton Zeuner).
The first of it’s kind, the series will blend real-world interviews with animation and be targeted to a tween audience. WSA co-created the original story lines for each episode, inspired by the athletes’ real-life stories, covering topics like grit, perseverance and pioneering, while weaving in fun, comedic animated sequences. WSA also recruited and selected talent for participation and helped coordinate talent on set.
